The Design Intent

Coming from a background in high-speed tactical games like Warframe, I’ve always been fascinated by enemies that don't just have HP bars, but have adaptive behavior. With the Calamivox Ingratus, I wanted to create a "Social Predator." Most TTRPG monsters just hit you with a sword or a claw. The Calamivox hits you with Information. It listens. It learns. It uses its Uncanny Mimicry to mess with the players' heads before a single initiative roll is made.
